Met Office discontinues yellow alert, brisk showers expected tonight

The Yellow Level Alert has been discontinued.

The Met Office discontinued the adverse weather alert at 4:47 pm on Wednesday.

However, it noted that the night will be partly cloudy with a light breeze and a few brisk showers.

The Met Office also added that tomorrow is forecast to be generally sunny, hazy and breezy despite the 40 percent (medium) chance of brisk morning and afternoon showers.

Meanwhile, it advised that there would be the presence of moderate to high concentrations of Saharan dust over the region.

Persons are advised to take the necessary precautions.
