Met Office monitors tropical wave moving across Atlantic

The Tropical Wave is moving westward across the Atlantic.
The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) is monitoring a Tropical Wave moving westward across the Atlantic.
In an update on Saturday night, the Met Office said although the wave axis is expected to traverse Trinidad and Tobago on Monday (July 6), convection ahead of the axis will begin to affect Trinidad and Tobago from tomorrow (Sunday).
As such, a partly cloudy and hazy day with intermittent showers is expected.
The Met Office said there is also a 20 percent (low) chance of an isolated heavy shower or thunderstorm during the afternoon.
In the event of heavy showers/ thunderstorms, winds can become gusty and street/ flash flooding is likely.
