MET office: Saharan dust persists in atmosphere

Here’s a look at today’s weather courtesy the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS).

Generally sunny, hazy and occasionally breezy conditions are expected with a few brief showery spells. Tonight will be mostly clear and hazy with a light breeze.

Members of the public are also advised that a significant amount of Saharan dust remains in the atmosphere. As such, persons with respiratory ailments are advised to take necessary precautions.

Seas are moderate with waves up to 2 metres in open waters and less than 1 metre in sheltered areas.
