Met Office: Significant amount of Saharan dust over T&T

A significant amount of Saharan dust is currently over Trinidad and Tobago and is likely to maintain a presence through the upcoming week.

This is according to the Met Office, in an update on its Facebook page on Saturday.

It said some fluctuation is expected during the week, but dust levels are still expected to remain relatively significant, especially for persons that are sensitive.

Persons with respiratory ailments are advised to take the necessary precautions.
