Met Office: Tropical wave to bring showers over weekend

Look out for wetter weekend weather!

The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) is advising of the passage of a Tropical wave over the weekend.

In an update on its Facebook page, it said rainfall activity can be expected from Saturday night into Sunday morning.

"Saturday night into Sunday morning you can expect to hear raindrops on your roof and you may be happy enough to hear the season's first peal of thunder. A Tropical wave axis should be passing us over the weekend and while our maritime will be the bigger recipient of rainfall activity, we can expect some of it to bring relief to dry land. To those mariners between Trinidad and Tobago, look out for low visibility and gusty winds in the vicinity of and under downpours."
