MGTL Marketplace brings e-commerce and delivery to T&T
An online company called MGTL MARKETPLACE has been launched to assist Small and Medium-sized businesses in generating sales and delivering goods both locally and internationally amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The organisation was founded by Lorraine Villaroel, a facilitator with 20 years’ customer service. As a certified facilitator for the Service Quality Institute, she has worked with several organisations locally. The company was also founded by Reynord Anthony Stoute who has more than 10 years' experience with online marketing, forex trading, along with building online businesses and e-commerce platforms in the United States and Trinidad.
Stoute said: “We started this platform as an avenue for the growth of small businesses. The COVID-19 pandemic simply provided a unique opportunity to jumpstart that process. We hope to achieve a culture of service excellence and growth, by providing the support of the platform. With it, businesses can maintain focus on developing their product and perfecting their service delivery. As we broaden the customer reach regionally and internationally for our local businesses, the economy will be impacted by their success and growth.”
The platform is a fully integrated e-shop which allows merchants to retail their goods, accept payment via Visa debit and credit card and offer delivery both locally and internationally much like the Amazon and Shopify business model for a fraction of the cost. It uses the local payment gateway Wi-Pay and First Atlantic Commerce.
These two companies have experience dealing with online payments. Payments will be directed away from the website and be completed on a secure payment page hosted by the two organisations.
In addition to the sales capability, the team also provides product photography and marketing services to merchants in order to get their products highlighted and sold in the best possible way. It also comes with full social media integration and custom URLs for businesses to integrate into their website.
The platform can be found via www.mygotolist.online/marketplace and comes with a vendor app to manage owners’ store on-the-go which is available on the Android App store with iOS soon to follow.
