Moka Sunday takes a step back for 2018, new fete Paradise to take over

Moka Sunday All Inclusive has been cancelled for 2018. The announcement was made on Tuesday, with the Moka team posting to their Faceboook that they decided to take a pause for 2018 but intend to return to the Carnival scene bigger and better in 2019.

However, due to the overwhelming demand from patrons, the St. Andrew’s Golf Club, in collaboration with a long-time member decided to merge the old with the new with a fresh concept: Paradise.

The new Paradise is set to take its place on Carnival Sunday and offer patrons a customizable fete experience.

Taking place at the St. Andrew’s Golf Course, guests of Paradise can enjoy an all-inclusive fete experience to match their pockets, with two price points: $700 and $1,200 (inclusive of a Champagne Lounge). While there are two ticket options, guests can still experience everything an all-inclusive has to offer including a premium bar.

Recognising that everyone’s watching their pockets in the current economic times, Paradise was created to suit everyone’s budget, according to the event’s team lead. “Every element was added to make you feel like you’re in paradise.”

Machel Montano is set to headline the artist cast, along with Voice, Iwer George, Shal Marshall, Ultimate Rejects, KI, Ravi B, and Patrice Roberts.

The DJ cast will include Private Ryan, Ultra Simmo, DJ Ana and DJ Darryl.
