Mother of three viciously stabbed more than 10 times by relative

A 34-year-old woman is warded in a critical condition after she was viciously attacked by a male relative on Monday.

The victim has been identified as Emily Roberts.

She is currently warded at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex nursing what police were told were at least ten stab wounds to her back, arms, hands, and abdomen.

According to police reports, around 8.30 am on Monday morning Roberts was seen fleeing a home along Crown Trace, Enterprise, while covered in blood.

She collapsed on the roadway a short distance away.

The police and paramedics were notified and the wounded woman was rushed for medical treatment.

Roberts is the mother of three children.

While police said they have been given an identity of the suspect, he has yet to be held.
