Motorists warned of traffic disruption along Golconda Connector Rd

Members of the public are advised that there will be a temporary traffic disruption along Connector Road, Golconda from Friday, September 15, to Sunday, September, 17 in order to facilitate milling and paving works.

The Ministry of Works and Transport noted that the traffic restrictions will be in effect on the following dates and times:-

· Friday, September 15 from 9 am to 3 pm

· Saturday, September 16 to Sunday, September, 17 from 7 am to 7 pm

Alternative Routes:

· Traffic heading west on the Golconda Connector Road towards San Fernando

Motorists are advised to enter the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway and take the Corinth Exit and Tarouba Exit to the North and Debe Exit to the South.

· Traffic heading East on the Golconda Connector Road towards Golconda

Motorists are advised to head east on Cipero Road to Golconda Connector Road, then back onto Golconda Connector Road.

The public is also asked to comply with the instructions of on site Police Officers to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic. Motorists are also cautioned to be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the site.
