The Ministry of Works and Transport (MOWT) has advised that there is currently a buildup of traffic on the northbound lane of the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway in the vicinity of the Claxton Bay flyover.

In a post to their Facebook page around 9.40 am, MOWT advised that the disruption is due to accidental spillage of hot mix asphalt on to the roadway.

Motorists have been advised to proceed with caution in the area while the MOWT attends to the cleanup of the site.
