Police rushed to the scene in San Juan where a homicide was reported on Friday morning. 

According to initial information the incident occurred near Petit Curacaye Road, San Juan around 7:30 on Friday morning. 

Residents said they heard several loud explosions and upon investigating they observed the body of a man along the roadway.

The police were notified and a team of officers from the North Eastern Division, under the supervision of Snr Sup Sagramsingh and ASP Sooker visited the scene.

Up to 9:00 am, the deceased was yet to be identified.
