The disappearance of a brand new Kia Cerato motor vehicle is now the subject of an investigation after it arrived in Trinidad but never reached its storage destination.

According to police reports, the brand new vehicle, valued at $126,000, was brought into the country between December 6 and December 7.

The navy blue car was taken off the Port at Port of Spain, to be delivered at The Advance Storage Lot located at Aranguez for storage.

However, recently, while doing a stock inventory, officials observed that the said motor vehicle could not be found at the storage lot and further checks revealed the said motor vehicle never reached the storage destination.

On Monday afternoon a brand manager for Southern Sales and Services Limited made a report to the Barataria Police about the incident.

WPC O’Brien is continuing inquiries.

More on this as it becomes available.
