Men have forgotten how to dress but with his new store, Madison Ave, Roger Roach is aiming to re-educate men on the basics of how to dress well.

Speaking at the launch of the store in Grand Bazaar on Friday, Roach, Director of Madison Ave, said men in Trinidad and Tobago have become caught in a boat ride and liming on the Avenue culture of short pants and T'shirts.

"We are here to solve a problem," he said to a room full of specially invited guests.

Services, said Roach, will include advice on putting together an ensemble, styling and alterations while light refreshments are served.

"Anyone can sell clothes. We are here to offer a full service to family and friends," said Roach.

Madison Ave offers a range of menswear for all occasions as well as accessories such as bowties, belts, watches, sunglasses and pocket squares.

While Madison Ave carries renowned international and local brands, the signature brand of the store is Tallia Orange, a menswear line from Peerless Clothing International.

Models showcasing the range of Tallia clothing suitable for casual to formal occasions walked through the store and mingled with the guests to show off the versatility of the pieces.

To enhance the shopping experience, patrons of the store can access a VIP card which gives them a 10 percent discount even on sale items.

Madison Ave is the official event partner for Bourgy Paradise, an event to be held at Queen's Hall carpark on May 27.

The event will be held in collaboration with event coordinators Chi and House of Siete and the theme is Garden Glam.
