New polymer $100 note available from Tuesday

The new polymer $100 notes which will replace the current paper bills will be available to the public from Tuesday.

The Central Bank advised on Sunday that $100 notes will be distributed to the commercial banks tomorrow.

The new polymer note is of a similar blue to the current bill in circulation.

The front of the bill now has an image of the national flag, and features a larger image of the coat of arms, with ‘100’ emblazoned on the top left and centre right of the bill.

The new bill can also help citizens properly identify the real notes from possible counterfeits.

The new polymer note will be unveiled at the Central Bank tomorrow.
