New Wave, a platform started in Jamaica to showcase Caribbean talent, is coming to Trinidad and Tobago.

From recording artistes to visual artists and talented individuals who just need a chance to show what they’re made of, New Wave TT promises to fill the gap.

“Since we began in 2016, we’ve seen this become hugely popular and successful in Jamaica with established and up and coming talent sharing one platform. The Trinidad and Tobago culture is one that’s rich with talent in all categories and it’s definitely something that through New Wave TT we’re going to highlight. It’s really a win-win for everyone involved," said New Wave TT curator, Leann Ollivierre.

Asked what sets New Wave TT apart from all the other avenues that already exist Leann said, “We’re creating a sustainable model, one that you can look forward to right now every quarter and will only increase in frequency. There is no limit to talent, there will always be someone new and happening and ready to share their talent in whatever form with us. We’re going to find them and bring them to you. All we ask is that you open your mind to a New Wave in TT. Follow us on Instagram @newwavett for all that’s happening!”

The launch event carded for April 15 promises a cast of established as well as up and coming talent.

Already announced as part of the lineup is local sensation Jimmy October.

Tickets, set to be released later this month will be priced at $100.00.
