Update: No new COVID-19 cases in T&T; cases remain at 116


The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Trinidad and Tobago remains at 116.

No new cases have been reported since April 26.

In its 10 pm update on Thursday, the Ministry of Health said 3,115 samples have been submitted to the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) and the University of West Indies (UWI) site.

As of Thursday morning, a total of 2,672 unique patient tests have been completed, while 419 tests have been repeated.

There are also no hospitalised patients in the public health system; 108 patients have been discharged.

Eight people have died from the virus.
