NP addresses fuel contamination at NP Roxborough Service Station

The Trinidad & Tobago National Petroleum Marketing Company Limited (NP) said it is aware of fuel contamination that occurred at the NP Roxborough Service on Friday 21 September.
In a release, NP confirmed that the issue is isolated to the Roxborough Service Station said the contamination has been contained.
As an immediate measure, the sale of the product at this station has been suspended and technicians are on site to evaluate the product and take remedial action.
NP said a full investigation and analysis of the matter will be conducted.
NP said it continues to advocate for strict compliance with standard procedures and continues to emphasise to all its site operators/ dealers the critical importance of following the established procedure so that the motoring public receives good fuel quality.
Any affected customer or customers who believe that their vehicle has been compromised in any way should first lodge a complaint at the Service Station where the product was purchased and provide an appropriate fuel sample as evidence.
