NP ready for UNIPET cut off; discourages panic buying

NP: Don't panic buy!

NP: Don't panic buy!

The National Petroleum Company of Trinidad and Tobago (NP) says they are ready to assist with ensuring that T&T has a reliable gas supply following Paria Fuel’s decision to cut off UNIPET’s supply.

NP says they’ve been made aware of Paria’s decision and is confident that their 115 service stations are able to handle customer demands. They say their extensive network over both islands means that they have the necessary resources to supply needs.

The company is also calling on drivers to refrain from panic buying, as there is no looming shortage or any other cause for concern. They say this practice only serves as a cause for unnecessary traffic congestion.
