NWRHA sets up medical outpost in El Socorro to assist flood victims

The North West Regional Health Authority (NWRHA) is extending its services to persons affected by the recent flooding in the El Socorro South area via a medical outpost station at Massy Technologies located at El Socorro Extension South (Opposite VEMCO) from 9 am to 2 pm on Thursday.

According to a release from the authority, services offered will include basic screening for Blood Pressure and Blood Glucose. There will also be a medical physician and pharmacist on site.

"The Authority empathizes with those who have been adversely affected by the recent flooding and is committed to the provision of quality healthcare service to those persons in need," the statement said.
