The 2019 National Budget will be read in Parliament on October 1.
Finance Minister Colm Imbert will present the budget in the House of Representatives at 1.30 pm that day.
Issues related to the closure of the Petrotrin refinery are expected to take on a significant role in Imbert's budget presentation as severance payments to some 4700 workers to be retrenched are still being finalised.
The 2019 National Budget will also give an update on Government's plans to begin collection of property tax, which is expected to commence sometime next year.
