ODPM gives caution after reports of traffic on Churchill Highway, EMR

The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management (ODPM) is advising motorists and the travelling public of traffic along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway (CRH) heading east and exiting Port of Spain.

Loop News has been informed that this traffic is also occurring on the Eastern Main Road.

Some motorists have been stuck for three hours with little movement.

It's said to be as a result of flash flooding near courts, El Socorro and Aranguez following heavy rains.

Drivers are cautioned to prepare for delays and are urged to proceed with caution.
