Officers questioned after weapons, cash, ammo found in locker

Three officers were detained this weekend by officers of the Professional Standards Bureau.
The three, which includes two police constables and a police sergeant, are being questioned into allegations of misbehaviour in public office.
The sergeant is being questioned in relation to allegations of extortion.
One of the constables is being held in relation to this inquiry as well as others after a series of items were found in an office which belongs to the unit the three officers are attached to.
The other constable is being questioned in relation to allegations of a weapon which was allegedly found in his locker. The constable claimed the firearm was an exhibit which he had collected from the Special Recovery Unit and forgot to lodge with the property keeper.
Several other items, including an air-pistol, a quantity of cash, and a quantity of ammunition was also found.
All three have denied any wrongdoing, but are being questioned.
