Over $300K worth of boat engines stolen from Felicity marina

A 75-year-old watchman was tied up by five robbers, who then proceeded to steal six boat engines, together valued at over TT $314,000.

The victim, who is from Felicity, told police that he was at the Riverside Marina in Felicity when he was confronted by five men.

The men tied up the old man and left him in a security room.

They then proceeded to steal the six engines from four vessels which were docked at the facility.

The police were notified and a team of officers including Cpl Phillips, PC Ramdial, and PC Backan visited the scene.

Police said they are pursuing several leads with the aim of making arrests in the immediate future.
