Palo Seco man held with loaded pistol

One man was arrested and a firearm and a quantity of ammunition seized during a police exercise in Palo Seco on Thursday.

The exercise supervised by Sgt. Sheldon Ablacksingh, was conducted around 5:15pm, on Thursday 22nd March, 2018, during which officers of the Santa Flora Police Station proceeded to Los Charros, Palo Seco, where they had cause to search a man who was standing along the roadway.

The search resulted in one Beretta pistol, loaded with a magazine containing 14 rounds of 9mm ammunition in his possession.

The suspect; a 40-year-old rigger of Los Charros, was arrested in connection with the finds.
