Panorama launches October 20, prelims begin in November

Panorama 2020 will officially launch on Sunday, October 20, as Pan Trinbago prepares for its new Panorama schedule. 

The National Panorama competition will begin three weeks after the launch from November 4 to 11 with the National Single Pan Preliminaries.

The Northern region will kick off the competition with participating bands judged at their competing bands’ panyards starting on Monday, November 4 till Wednesday, November 6.

Unlike previous years, the bands in all categories will go through a Preliminary, Semi-Final and Final round with the Finals carded for Sunday, November 17 (Single Pan Bands), Saturday, January 11 (Small Conventional Bands),  Sunday, February 6 (Medium Conventional Finals) and Saturday, February 22 (Large Conventional Bands).

A total of 179 bands have registered for the four categories.

The launch of Panorama 2020  will take place at HADCO Phase 11 Pan Groove Theatre, Samuel Drive, Woodbrook, at 5:30 pm.

There will be performances from First Citizens SuperNovas, HADCO Phase II Pan Groove, Melodians and Road Block with a guest appearance by The Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force Steel Orchestra. 

DJ Klass is Class will also be in attendance.
