Park and ride system in place for CPL semis and finals

An estimated 15,000 cricket fans will be at the Brian Lara Stadium for the culmination of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) T20 this weekend.

In an effort to alleviate some of the anticipated congestion ahead of the highly anticipated semi-finals and finals of this year's CPL T20, the CPL, along with the Urban Development Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago, has introduced a park and ride system for this weekend's matches.

Patrons attending the semi-finals and finals at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba now have the option of parking at the University of Trinidad and Tobago on Tarouba Link Road, and hopping a shuttle for a 2-minute ride to the Stadium.

The cost to park and ride is $20.

The Trinbago Knight Riders face off against the St Kitts and Navis Patriots on Friday for a spot in the finals.

The winner of that match will go on to play the Guyana Amazon Warriors for the coveted title on Sunday night.
