Pastry vendors robbed at gunpoint in Tunapuna

Two pastry workers were robbed by gunmen in El Dorado on Tuesday evening.
 
Police said the two victims, aged 26 and 23, were working from their company vehicle which was parked along Madoo Hill, El Dorado, when they were stopped by two men pretending to be customers.
 
While placing an order one of the men pulled out a firearm and announced a hold-up.
 
The victims were robbed of a total of $8,000 in cash, as well as their cellular phones, and an engagement ring.
 
The assailants then escaped.
