The Ministry of Works and Transport (MoWT) is advising that the temporary authorization for use of the Priority Bus Route (PBR) to 'H' vehicles (taxis) from the Curepe to Mt Hope Intersections has ended effective Tuesday, May 12, 2020.
In July of last year, The Ministry of Works and Transport granted permission to taxis to use this portion of the Priority Bus Route in an effort to ease congestion woes caused by the construction of the Curepe Interchange Project.
This special allowance took effect on July 22, 2019, and has now ended.
The Ministry, in a release posted to Facebook, also took the opportunity to encourage motorists to adhere to the new signs, regulations and traffic signals.
