The girls will make their first public appearance on May 25 at O2N - Style Me Caribbean for a sashing ceremony.

This is the first time in the history of Miss World that the month-long festival and final will take place in Thailand.

Delegates from 130 countries are scheduled to arrive in Thailand on 9 November for the month-long festival.

The opening ceremony will be held in Bangkok, each contestant will then compete in a series of fast track events that will take them on a journey across some of the country’s most spectacular tourism sites taking in its rich cultural heritage.

At the heart of Miss World is its humanitarian programme ‘Beauty With A Purpose’. This global platform inspires and empowers thousands of young women from around the world to use their talents to raise awareness and funds in aid of humanitarian causes that make real and lasting tangible differences to the poor, sick and disadvantaged.

Each year, in addition to championing a project from their home country that’s close to their heart, contestants work in the host country to raise funds for local charities and good causes.
