Pictures: Beach House on the Hill stays true to brand

Beach House brought its brand to San Fernando with all the luxury trappings it has become famous for.

From the branded beverage stations, the expansive Piper Heidsieck Champagne bar, and the food court with chairs and tables laid out under the trees on the picturesque San Fernando Hill, the party was everything we have come to expect from Beach House.

It was the first time the country’s second capital got a taste of what thousands have enjoyed from years and the atmosphere of the Hill reminded us of the days when the infamous Beach House All-Inclusive was held on the golf course in Couva.

BeachHouse on the Hill

The major difference at this all-inclusive event was the inclusion of live performances with Kes the Band,  Voice, who had to run up a portion of the Hill to make it to the stage to perform ‘Dear Promoter’ with Kees Diffenthaller, Nadia Batson and Swappi.

It’s little details that differentiates a luxury fete from a run of the mill event and BH on the Hill paid attention to the finer things.

There was an allotted car park in Cocoyea and shuttles to and from the venue.

At the drop off point, ushers greeted guests and escorted them off the shuttles. Once inside, it was an easy dive to the food court. There, food ranged from doubles and seafood to saffron rice risotto and delectable chocolate desserts.

A dedicated eating area allowed for patrons to enjoy their meals before heading over to the stage area for the action.

And even though the crowd was not as big since it was a first-time event, the vibes were there as has become the norm for a Beach House event.

There is no doubt if this becomes a staple event in the Southland, it will grow in popularity and raise the bar for All-Inclusives on that side.
