Pirogue with 28 Venezuelans taken to Staubles Bay for processing

The Coast Guard (TTCG) escorted a vessel with 28 Venezuelans to its headquarters at Staubles Bay, Chaguaramas on Tuesday. 

A statement by the TTCG notes that a pirogue named Dona Isabel was spotted west of Gasper Grande Island at 1.50 am. 

Aboard were 18 males and 10 females, two of whom were pregnant. 

They were taken to the TTCG headquarters to await processing by the Immigration Division.
