Located in the Molinere Beausejour Marine Protected Area, Grenada's Underwater Sculpture Park was the first of its kind in the world.
Fashioned from a variety of media, the sculptures act as an artificial reef which has proved highly successful so far in attracting a stunning array of varied marine life according to The Grenada Underwater Sculpture Management Inc (GUSMI).
The sculptures include a circle of life-size figures cast from local children linked by holding hands, a man working at his desk and typewriter, the desk covered with historical newspaper cuttings including some documenting Grenada’s involvement with Cuba, and a sculpture of a life-size man cycling along the side of the reef on a salvaged bicycle.
To access the Underwater Park, there are several tours available on the island that you can make arrangements through.
