Rapper and actor Ludacris recently posted Instagram images of his time in St Lucia's famed Sulphur Springs. 

The well-known Sulphur Springs is the hottest and most active geothermal area in the Lesser Antilles and is billed as the Caribbean’s only drive-in volcano.

Just outside the Springs, you can bathe in the warm sulphuric pools, reputed for its soothing effects. 

There are three pools you can choose from.

Just beside the park’s entrance is the famous Black Water Pool built in 2004 and refurbished in 2009. This area boasts a natural open air hot water pool, sitting area, hot and cold water showers and changing rooms.

Made famous by The Bachelor reality show, the Pool of Love is a small and intimate, clear, hot water pool fed from mineral water which emerges from deep beneath the surface of the earth. 

The King Louis baths, located on the Diamond Estate are hot spring bath pools constructed by Baron-de-Laborie, the French Governor of St. Lucia in 1784.The units were built for the monarch’s infantry after an analysis of the waters at Sulphur Springs revealed a striking similarity with waters of the famed French spas..
