Police arrest two in Arima raid

Two men are in police custody following exercises in Arima yesterday. 

The two men, aged 21 and 36, were held during a police operation in Sherwood Park, Arima. 

The operation took place between 10am and 4pm on Thursday. Both men were held on robbery related offences. 

The operation was supervised by Snr Supt David and Supt Edwards, and included ASP Gyan, Insp Pitt, and Sgt Mascall, among others. 

The officers were conducting continuing exercises in the Northern Division, as mandated by Commissioner of Police Gary Griffith to maintain law and order throughout the country.
