Police ask for help in identifying body found in Arouca

Police are still trying to identify a body which was found in Arouca last Friday morning (September 20, 2019).

The body is that of a man of  African descent, clad in a grey jersey and blue long jeans.

A pair of black and white “Nike” slippers were found a short distance away.

Police said that the body bore wounds to its shoulder and head.

It was found around 7.45 am on Friday  in a garden off Bon Air North, Arouca.

Anyone with information which could lead to the identification of the deceased is asked to contact the Arouca police station or any police station near to them.
