Police destroy 2000 marijuana seedlings in Santa Cruz

Two thousand marijuana seedlings were discovered by North Eastern Division officers during a marijuana eradication exercise in the Santa Cruz on Wednesday.
The exercise was conducted between 2:00 pm and 4:30 pm on April 25.
Acting on information, officers proceeded to a forested area off Cakes Land, La Canoa Road, Lower Santa Cruz, where the seedlings along with a glass jar of marijuana seeds were discovered and subsequently destroyed.
No arrest was made in connection with the find.
The exercise was supervised by W/Sgt Natalie John of the San Juan Police Station.
