Police find storeroom with two guns, ammo in Tunapuna

A police exercise conducted around 1:15 pm on Sunday saw a party of Northern Division Task Force officers go to a popular drug spot at Green Street, Tunapuna.

There was no one present at the location however, the officers conducted a search and found what appeared to be an unsecured storeroom.

In it, an am-15 CAL.223/5.56 mm along with one chrome pistol and six magazines with three rounds of 9mm ammunition was found.

No one was arrested in connection with the discovery.

The exercise was spearheaded by ACP McDonald Jacobs and was coordinated by Senior Superintendent Curtis Paul.
