Police: General compliance with curfew; 1 arrest for indecent exposure

In Cayman, there continues to be general compliance with the curfew. Last night there were no vehicular breaches. There was one arrest made of a pedestrian for a number of offences including indecent exposure.

Little Cayman had no vehicle interceptions last night.

In Cayman Brac, eight vehicles were pulled over and were all found to be essential services.

In Grand Cayman, 132 vehicles were intercepted and all were essential workers. One cyclist was warned for prosecution for a breach of curfew. A pedestrian was arrested for indecent exposure, carrying a weapon and a breach of curfew.

Today there are many people on the beaches but there are no public gathering bans being breached. The Police Commissioner has asked that no beach-goers go into the ocean.

During the day today, two people were warned for a breach of curfew. One person tried to get away from the police checkpoint and was warned for a breach of curfew. Another individual was involved in commercial landscaping and was warned for prosecution for a breach of curfew.

Tomorrow, during the Sunday hard curfew hours, restaurant delivery services will be allowed to travel between 12 pm and 9 pm.
