Police need public's help in finding Cedros woman's killers

No arrests have been made in the death of 42-year-old Janelle Teeluck.

Teeluck, of Bouis Bourg Village, Cedros, was found dead last Thursday behind the home of a neighbour.

Police said that they were working on several theories and have questioned several people, including relatives, but they have called on members of the public who may know something to come forward.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact any police station, or they can give the information anonymously through 555 or 800-TIPS, or even by texting 482-GARY.

Police were told that around 7.30 pm on Wednesday, the victim was at a neighbour’s house during a power outage when two men, dressed in what appeared to be tactical wear and armed with cutlasses, stormed the premises.

The men announced a hold-up and relieved the persons of their valuables.

Then they grabbed Teeluck and left with her.

The police were notified but due to the poor lighting conditions that night, Teeluck was not found.

Her body was discovered in the bushes behind her neighbour’s house early on Thursday morning.
