Two stolen vehicles were recovered during an exercise conducted in the North Eastern and Northern divisions, between 5:00 pm and 12 midnight on April 12, 2019.
According to updates shared by the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), officers went to Calvary Street, San Juan where they recovered a white Nissan Tiida motor vehicle, which was stolen on February 19 in Curepe.
Officers then went to the Bregon Park D’Abadie and recovered a white Nissan Tiida motor vehicle, which was taken away at gunpoint on April 12 in the San Juan area.
In a separate incident, police said one firearm along with a quantity of ammunition was seized after an anti-crime exercise carried out by the North Eastern Division Task Force.
Officers proceeded to Mon Repos Road, Morvant where a search was conducted in a bushy area.
One silver and brown Beretta pistol and one magazine containing one round of 9mm ammunition were found and seized.
Investigations are ongoing.
