Police reviewing CCTV footage after brothers killed in Tobago
While there still remains no official motive for the killing of brothers Kelton James, 39, and Kenwyn James, 32, in Tobago, police suspect that it may be linked to an altercation the siblings had with a group of men two weeks ago.
Police said they got a confrontation that the siblings had gotten into a heated confrontation recently with persons known to them.
As such, investigators are seeking out these individuals for questioning.
The brothers were shot dead on Friday night along Franklyn Road, Les Coteaux, Tobago.
Homicide Investigators are reviewing CCTV footage from businesses in the area, as they were told that immediately prior to their deaths.
Police are looking at several possible motives for the killing, even the possibility the murders may be drug-related, due to the ‘deliberate’ manner’ in which the two had been killed.
Police were also told that prior to the shooting, the siblings were seen having a confrontation with three men along the roadway, following which, one of the men pulled out a weapon and turned it on the brothers.
More on this as it becomes available.
