Police searching for three suspects after home invasion in Central

Police are seeking the public’s assistance to find three men who robbed and assaulted two persons during a home invasion in Edinburgh Gardens.

The incident took place at about 10.10 am yesterday at Bhaggan Trace, off Chandanagore Road.

The two victims, a 65-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman, told police they were at the home when three men, all armed with cutlasses stormed the premises.

They announced a hold up, and proceeded to relieve the victims of their cash and valuables.

Police said over $25,000 in items and money were stolen from the home.

The men then made their exit in a red Nissan Note which was waiting outside.

Police were notified, and officers from the central Division responded.

The description of the suspects are as follows:

Suspect: #1 male of African descent, brown complexion, low curly haircut, slim built, wearing dark coloured t-shirt and long jeans armed with a cutlass.

#2 male of African descent, dark brown complexion, low haircut, slim built, wearing dark coloured t-shirt and long jeans armed with a cutlass.

#3 male of African descent, dark brown complexion, low haircut, slim built, wearing dark coloured t-shirt and long jeans armed with a cutlass.
