Police seeking information on murder of burger vendor
The killing of a 34-year-old burger vendor in St James on Tuesday night is still engaging the attention of police.
The deceased, Randy Neil Dwarika of Bournes Road, St James, was shot dead around 8.30 pm that night near his car, along the Western Main Road, St James.
Police were told that a man simply walked up to Dwarika with a firearm in his hand and opened fire.
He then fled the scene.
Police are expected to be reviewing CCTV footage of the incident today, with the aims of identifying the killer.
However, anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the St James police station or the Homicide Bureau.
It was noted that any police station could also be used, or persons could call 800-TIPS or 555, to give the information anonymously.
Persons could also text 482-GARY or use the recently launched TTPS app, to give the information.
