Police seeking two suspects in robbery

A manhunt is on in the Southern Division for two men who held up a 53-year-old businessman.

According to police reports, around 12:40 pm on Wednesday, the businessman was on the compound of a Credit Union along Carib Street, San Fernando, when he was accosted by two armed men.

He was relieved of his wallet, as well as $22,000 in cash which he was about to deposit in the credit union. 

The assailants then escaped in a white Nissan Tiida motor vehicle which had been parked a short distance away.

Police are continuing their inquiries into this incident.

Anyone with information which may lead to the arrests of these suspects is asked to contact the San Fernando Police Station or to relay the information anonymously through 555 or 800-TIPS.
