Police exercises by officers of the Port-of-Spain Division led to the seizure of 1.2 kilograms of compressed marijuana in Longdenville.
The drugs, police said, had an estimated street value of $20,000.
According to police reports, a team of officers led by ASP Edwards Inspector Narace, Sgt Dalloway, Cpl Ramcharan, Cpl Khamal, PC Gill, and PC Forgenie, all under the supervision of Snr Sup Daniel, received key intelligence which led them to an abandoned lot along Ravine Sable Road, Longdenville.
The officers conducted a search of the area, and hidden in a black bag, the officers found and seized a quantity of compressed marijuana.
No one was arrested.
