Police want public's help to locate six men involved in home invasion

Santa Cruz police are calling for the public’s assistance in locating six people who were involved in a home invasion last week in which a 45-year-old woman and her 20-year-old daughter were held up at gunpoint.

The incident took place last Monday around 3 AM at the family’s home in Cantaro Village.

Police were told that the two women were asleep when they were awakened by loud noises. Upon investigating, they found six men, armed with firearms, in their house.

The suspects announced a holdup and assaulted the women. They ransacked the house to search for cash and valuables but only escaped with a gold chain valued at $5,500.

Officers of the Santa Cruz Police Station responded, and a search was conducted for the suspects but they were not found.

Police are now calling on members of the public who may have witnessed something or know anything about the incident to contact the Santa Cruz Police Station. Information can also be given anonymously through 555 or 800-TIPS.

PC Dwarika is continuing inquiries.
