Porsche Centre Trinidad celebrates Christmas with the community
Porsche team with police officers
This Christmas season, Porsche Centre Trinidad received a request for support from Keniesha Lewis-Mc Farlane, a member of ‘I Support Our Services’ (ISOS).
In a release from the company, they said the Porsche team ‘did not hesitate to roll up our sleeves and get busy’. They donated a Christmas tree to the Barataria police station and surprised officers by showing up in their numbers to do all the hard work of setting it up.
When asked why the Porsche team was so willing to give their time, Riyad Ali, Porsche Trinidad Brand Manager, said ‘At Porsche, we approach business beyond the sale of our vehicles, we are about community. We believe all companies need to be more responsive and get involved in giving back. In other regions in the world, we are supporting different causes such as training in under-served communities, or house building after disasters. We want to share this way of thinking and influence others. We need to be a leader in the automotive environment here in Trinidad and Tobago so that our drivers can also be influenced by our actions.’

The team said this holiday season has been the catalyst for them to practice the act of giving and they look forward to supporting the community further in 2020.
The Porsche Centre Trinidad team thanked all its customers, business partners, Porsche Facebook and Instagram followers and wished members of their community a Merry Christmas and best wishes for a prosperous 2020.
