Preacher's home broken into
San Fernando Police are investigating a report in which the home of a preacher was broken into.
The incident reportedly took place sometime on Sunday night, and an estimated $70,000 in gold and valuables were said to have been stolen.
Police were told that around 6:30 pm on Sunday, the preacher secured his home at Esperance Village before leaving.
He returned around 9 am on Monday, and observed that a window to his home had been forced open. Upon further inspection, he realised that his home had been ransacked and that several items of jewellery and other valuables – including a television set – were missing.
The police were notified and a team of officers from the San Fernando Police Station responded.
