Pregnant woman robbed of car in C3 carpark
A pregnant woman was robbed of her vehicle at gunpoint at a carpark at C3 Centre on Saturday.
The incident reportedly took place around 2.30 pm at the mall's basement car park, where just one unarmed security guard was allegedly posted.
In a statement posted to their Facebook page on Saturday, the management of C3 Centre described the incident as unfortunate and expressed their sympathies to the patron.
The mall's management said CCTV footage was immediately handed over to the police to aid in the investigation.
The mall added that it remains committed to the safety and security of its patrons.

"This afternoon, there was a robbery at one of C3 Centre's carparks. Our security personnel responded and our CCTV footage was promptly shared with the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS).
The current crime situation is a national issue and this incident is indeed very unfortunate. We empathise with the victim and have been assured by the TTPS that they are exercising their best efforts to capture these perpetrators within the shortest possible time frame.
C3 Centre remains committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all."
