Princes Town man held for gun and cocaine possession

One man was arrested and a revolver and a quantity of ammunition seized by officers of the Princes Town Police Station during an anti-crime exercise in the district on Tuesday.

Officers conducted the exercise between 2:00pm and 6:00pm while doing searches of several drug blocks in the area.

Acting on a tip, the officers went to Hope Road, Princes Town, where they arrested a 45-year-old labourer for the possession of one revolver and five rounds of .38mm ammunition, as well as 90 grammes of cocaine.
